LR40R features 2 beams which can be used individually or combined.

Spotlight beam: 4 brightness settings with 1000 lumens Max and a beam range of 640 Meters
Floodlight beam: 5 brightness settings with 11000 lumens Max and a beam range of 410 meters plus strobe and SOS functions
Combined beam: 12000 lumens Max with a beam range of 773 meters

Please note that due to the small form factor and high power, the highest output settings (flood light) are temperature limited and will gradually downshift to lower outputs as the light heats up. Typically around 1.5-2 minutes of run time is available at Max combined setting before downshifting occurs. Max is available again after the light cools. See run time graph below for performance at continuous Max output and all other power levels.

For search use the 1000 lumen beam can be used for extended periods whilst the 11,000 lumen floodlight will brightly illuminate a large area for approx 35 minutes (2 minutes at 11,000, 33 minutes at 6000 lumens )
